Gallery Shoes: ready for its 6th edition
From 8 to 10 March 2020, Düsseldorf will host the sixth edition of the Show of footwear and accessories, proposing an international portfolio of exhibitors, while assigning a new role to "Altes Kesselhaus", which with its post-industrial appeal, becomes a multifunctional hall for fashion shows and events.
MOMAD: just “one” fair for the world of fashion
Organised by IFEMA, the winter edition of MOMAD was held in Madrid from 6 to 8 February, with completely revamped contents, which saw the participation of around 800 brands both national and international.

Under the Flag of Pitti Bimbo
As part of the theme “Show Your Flags”, the international fair of childrenswear in Florence will wave the flags of its brands and collections, with creative layouts and many special events programmed for the 90th edition to be held from 16 to 18 January at the Fortezza da Basso.
MICAM goes to China
MICAM arrives in China with two important initiatives to present its brand and offer its all-inclusive vision of international footwear. The aim is to involve local operators and invite them to participate in the 89th edition of the event to be held in Milan from 16 to 19 February.
Moda Made in Italy: only 2 days to be more targeted
Making its return on 15 and 16 March is Moda Made in Italy at MOC in Munich, the event dedicated to high-end footwear and accessories, which is promoted by Assocalzaturifici and aimed in particular at the markets of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Only two days of exhibition, where 145 brands will present their products.
Obuv: an increasingly complex Russian market
Notwithstanding the leading market value of the Russian market, Obuv mir Kozi – in Moscow from 21 to 24 October 2019 – did not manage to overcome the negative predictions made on the eve of the event, with clientele prey to the uncertainties surrounding the new system of mandatory marking, and the constant search for the best price.
Between uncertainties and opportunities
From one end, the weak banking system and devalued currency in Kazakhstan, and from the other end, the political-economic crises of the Ukraine, influenced the outcome of the last editions of Moda Made in Italy @Almaty and Moda Made in Italy @Kiev organised by Assocalzaturifici with Ente Moda Italia. Despite this, a number of business opportunities still presented themselves.
MICAM stable with 44,076 visitors
The fiftieth anniversary of MICAM ends on a successful note, recording a slight rise in visitors (+0.94%) of a decidedly international scope.
