 A pioneer of female business owners in Italy, but also a fashion visionary, and among the very first to understand the creative potential of plastic material, Emanuela Menghi passed away last 31 October, leaving behind the legacy of a prestigious brand and company - Menghi Shoes – which through its three companies employs over 300 individuals.  

The Australian brand sets its sights on the issue of sustainability with a new collection of knitted sneakers made from recycled PET plastic bottles recovered from the oceans. The aim is to substitute all the materials used in the brand’s knitted sneakers with recycled and recyclable alternatives by 2021. L’obiettivo è di sostituire, entro il 2021, tutte le proprie knitted sneaker con alternative riciclate e riciclabili.
