Alessandra Albarelli is the new General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi S.p.A., the managing body of the exhibition and conference centre in Trentino.
“I have the pleasure of taking over the management of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi SpA,” says Alessandra Albarelli, “and would like to thank the Board of Directors for the trust placed in me. This is an important step, which takes place after 15 years of being managed by Giovanni Laezza, a person whom I respect greatly for his professional skills and human qualities.”
Alessandra Albarelli has been an integral part of the organisational structure of the Garda-based company for ten years, and is manager of the Congress and Incoming Area.
Since 2017, she has been the CEO of REbuild S.r.l., a group company that deals with communication and events dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the building industry. She is also President of Federcongressi&Eventi, the Italian association for the meeting industry that brings together over 300 companies in the sector. Her position was reconfirmed in 2019, so she will continue her commitment for another three years.
In the past, Alessandra Albarelli, as owner of a business in the hospitality industry, was founder of the Verona “Tuttintorno” Tourist Promotion Consortium, of which she was Director for many years, before starting the collaboration with Riva del Garda Fierecongressi SpA. She has had many experiences as a public administrator and has sat on the boards of public and private companies.
“We are very happy with this choice,” says Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi S.p.A., Roberto Pellegrini. “We appointed Alessandra Albarelli for her indisputable and recognised experience in the sector, for her management and relational skills. She has a particular aptitude for creating and innovating by guiding change processes. This characteristic is considered important by the company’s governance in order to be able to achieve the new strategic objectives approved in 2019. In addition, the upcoming projects, the new Congress Centre and the expansion of the Quartiere Fieristico, require attention and direct knowledge of the complex production machinery of trade fairs and congresses, in order to address the delicate management moment without penalising the current activities.”
