Fairs news from our blog
We listened to the live testament of the companies participating in the June 2022 edition of Expo Riva Schuh, including their impressions of the event and results achieved over the four days of exhibition. For all concerned, the fair was host to a lively and positive climate, with a great desire to leave Covid behind and once again being travelling and doing business.
The fair in São Paulo, Brazil, now in its 52nd edition, will be held from 22 to 24 August in partnership with Mercado Livre, one of the leading marketplaces in the world, to favour the participation of retailers.
A clear vision is that of GianPaola Pedretti, the new Exhibition Manager at Expo Riva Schuh: the fair as a ‘here’ and ‘now’ where it’s possible to meet the entire community, try out a new experience, rediscover your world also on a humane level, and naturally do business.
Since it first got its start, the fair has maintained close ties with the territory and accommodation facilities of Riva del Garda, which today continue to host many companies and brands that participate in the event. Some hotel managers explain the added value of this winning combination as follows.
The fair of reference for volume footwear – completed by the hub dedicated to leather goods and accessories – returns as the protagonist from Saturday 11 to Tuesday 14 June 2022 with an edition that aims to reinforce the international character of the fair through activities that include hybrid services, incoming services for foreign buyers, and business scouting.
Confirmed, also for the June edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, is the ‘village of innovation’, founded with the aim of creating networking and business opportunities between emerging realities and established players.
For the first time, the international fair of reference for footwear in Riva del Garda launches a personalised counselling service reserved for official delegations and hosted buyers, in a scope of reinforcing the meeting between supply-demand.
The most interesting voices on the international panorama of fashion have returned to the international show of footwear in a space that celebrates innovations, sustainability, and research.
This past 15 March saw the end of the spring edition of the Milan shows of Micam, Mipel, The One Milano and HOMI, confirming an irreplaceable opportunity for encounters and business.
The second edition of the trade fair project dedicated to the promotion of the leather goods par excellence productive sector was held during Lineapelle at FieraMilano-Rho this past February.
At the fair, sustainability becomes a project possible for all the companies and a unique opportunity for learning about state-of-the-art footwear manufacturing in this context, thanks to a dedicated area, a new brand certification guarantee, and activities geared towards raising greater awareness.
The rendezvous with the Show of reference for the outdoor industry is from 12 to 14 June 2022 at the MOC Veranstaltungs- und Ordercenter München, in Munich.
The desire for recovery is considerable, and the industry is attempting to relaunch with vigour thanks to the support of exhibitors and visitors, who continue to participate despite geopolitical and economic difficulties.
The winning project of the contest ‘Innovation Village Retail’ of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, was a 100% ‘Made in Italy’ fashion-tech start-up platform, which helps brands cut back on production costs and times, while also becoming more sustainable and innovative through 3D virtualization and projecting them directly into the future of the metaverse.
