The first initiative will see MICAM as the official sponsor together with other representative brands of Italian style and savoir-faire at the prestigious MonteNapoleone Gala Dinner organised by the MonteNapoleone Fashion District, which will be held tonight, 20 November, at the Bulgari Hotel in Shanghai. The second initiative will be presented the following day at R. Mand in Shanghai, with a special preview of the 89th edition of Micam and its contents, which will be kicked off on 16 February 2020 in Milan.
On both occasions, under the limelight will be the collections of the Emerging Designers area, which will contribute to the Milan event by offering a complete vision of style’s evolution and a panorama of rising stars on the international footwear design scene.

Made in Italy footwear in China continues to grow, and during the first six months of the year, exports arrived at a value of over 155 million euros, up +13.8% over the same period of the previous year. Moreover, the duo of China – Hong Kong has become the 5th end market in the Italian footwear classification of value, importing 2.2 million pairs for a value of 333 million euros, which is an uptrend of +12% over the first half of 2018.
