Providing content and useful tools to support the business of the sector and help operators to orient themselves within a new and completely revolutionised context: this is the goal of the live talks hosted on the digital platform of Expo Riva Schuh and Gardabags. A full programme of online meetings to accompany the footwear and accessory community throughout the year, including round tables, debates and insights on the most important current issues in the sector with the contribution of opinion leaders and internationally renowned experts.

For any company that wants to grow, digital transformation is a mandatory path to follow. It will be discussed on Expo Riva Schuh’s Swapcard during the two live talks “Digital Transformation” through two perspectives: how the way of creating and presenting collections changes, and how to identify the best platforms.

Digitisation is not simply intercepting an online customer, but an extraordinary opportunity to customise the offer to the consumer’s tastes and to adopt more engaging presentation tools. Joanna Lowry, Senior Consultant of WSGN, Marcus Taubert, Head of Development of M-Cube Group and Enrico Cietta, Fashion Economist of Diomedea will talk about it in the first session of Thursday 4 March (2.00 p.m), exploring how companies are modifying the way of creating and presenting their collections to consumers, illustrating the tools and issues to be considered in order to adopt new technologies. All in relation to the type of market served, the business model adopted and the scale of the companies.

The second appointment with Digital Transformation on Thursday 11 March (2.00 p.m) will instead review the best digital tools for presenting/selling products online and present successful case histories. Joanna Lowrt and Enrico Cietta will be back among the speakers, who will be joined by Alfredo Orobio, founder and CEO of Awaytomars. The speakers will present the solutions adopted by the most innovative companies to make the relationship between brand and customer ever more immediate, identifying the strategies to best integrate the traditional experience of the store or other digital relationship systems already acquired with the latest generation tools.

So, meet Digital Transformation, part 1 and 2, on 4 and 11 March 2021 on Expo Riva Schuh’s Swapcard.
