Madrid’s major kermesse dedicated to Total Look and Lifestyle ended on 17 September, showcasing the latest trends and market innovations for Spring Summer 2024. The IFEMA MADRID exhibition complex successfully reintroduced the formula of the four fairs, capable of providing buyers with a complete offer of fashion ‘from head to toe’ and according to lifestyle, with the fairs: MOMAD (footwear and fashion accessories), Bisutex (bijoux and accessories), Madridjoya (jewellery and watches), and Intergift (gift items). The first to open its doors was Intergift, on Wednesday 13, followed by Bisutex and Madridjoya, on Thursday 14, and finally MOMAD, which started on the 15th. They all ended on Sunday 17, with a total of more than 1,500 companies and brands involved, from 21 countries around the world: an exceptional platform for doing business, attracting customers, collaborating and exploring new business opportunities, as well as exchanging knowledge. As well as the largest business and trends meeting on the Iberian Peninsula in the decoration, gift, costume jewellery, accessories, jewellery, fashion.
MOMAD, in particular, took place in Hall 8, with the participation of more than 300 companies, who presented their collections for the Spring/Summer 2024 season and the Fall/Winter 23-24 ready-to-wear, from different national and international companies. In addition to companies from Spain, in the majority, brands from Portugal, France, Italy and a large group of exhibitors from Colombia participated, with clothing and handicraft items.
In parallel, there was the Fashion Inspiration Day, a day of ‘inspirational training’ aimed at professionals from the multi-brand retail sector, designed to provide new lines of development and expansion for their business.
The trade fair was enriched by a full programme of conferences, which received a great deal of interest, on topics such as sustainable fashion led by Colombia, creating a smart production style, sustainability in the textile industry, and the new REACH regulation.
The MOMAD fashion catwalk completed the events programme, with a stage, located in Hall 8, that featured live fashion shows by various brands and companies, with innovative and exclusive proposals by the companies participating in MOMAD, Bisutex and Madridjoya.
