Exhibitors had access to the revolutionary Hybrid Service during the last edition of the Riva del Garda show in January 2022. It's a hybrid solution that uses digital technology to enable new display options that combine both physical and online elements to fulfil current market demands. This service allowed enterprises that were unable to be physically present during the event to exhibit their samples at the fair, with the help of multilingual hostesses who had been properly trained and were present at the stand.

Hybrid Solution is a simple and dynamic service that ensures optimal support for exhibitors before, during, and after the fair. Exhibitors who wish to use this service just simply deliver their samples to the Riva del Garda exhibition centre.

The hostess in charge will next take control of the samples and place them on the stand's shelves before greeting and accompanying interested clients on their visit. Exhibitors will also be able to manage commercial agreements remotely in a simple, effective, and secure manner, thanks to the Digital Connection, using digital devices connected to the fair's network. It's a great method to start new business relationships and keep old ones going strong. In a time when individuals are forced to stay apart, technology has rapidly become a method and channel for reducing distances. The hostesses are still in charge of packaging and shipping for the return of the samples at the end of the event.

“It was a win-win situation for both exhibitors and purchasers, as it allowed companies that were not physically present at Riva del Garda to maintain business contacts and close key deals. Although digital solutions cannot totally replace face-to-face meetings and contact chances that fairs provide, I feel that keeping this type of virtual meeting allows for a wider range of action and concrete potential to grow the business”, says Adriana Miori, Sales Representative of the Chinese company Jinjiang Lideng Import and Export Trading Co. Ltd.

Technology and digital enable us to develop new company models. They should not be viewed as replacements, but rather as aids in achieving and obtaining better results.
