Returning with the exclusive “The Originals 8th St Collection” by Ronnie Fieg is the collaboration between Clarks and the artist that began in the mid 1990s with the David Z store on 8th St in Manhattan. Comprising the new summer collection, signed by one of the fashion system’s most popular designers, are the Maycliffe, Rossendale, Breacon, followed by Lockhill and Sandford. In terms of trainers, the Breacon features a “trail runner” aesthetic inspired by Breacon National Park, and is characterised by its iconic natural rubber crepe sole, micro-perforated nubuck upper with stitching details, and finished with embossed Clarks Originals tabs. The Sandford, on the other hand, is named after Clarks’ first London warehouse, and features an “old-school vibes” style with suede uppers and the iconic FSC® certified crepe sole. Lockhill, finally, is a sporty trainer with a retro aesthetic, whose name recalls one of the very first Clarks factories. The aqua green colour and coral and light blue hues bring the premium perforated suede to life.
