In the 1940s, during the Second World War, BALLY supported girls studying ballet by ensuring, from its factory in Schöftland, the supply of slippers equipped with ribbons and the necessary reinforcements for dancing on pointe shoes. A special BALLY logo with a ballerina decorated them. Today, for the Ballyrina collection, BALLY reopens its archives and revisits the model with a contemporary twist. Prominent in the collection is the Byntia model, a Mary Jane finished with leather trim and featuring a buckle strap reminiscent of the ribbon crossing of traditional ballet shoes. Thanks to its sober silhouette and round toe, Byntia proves to be both comfortable and versatile, perfect to wear on the fly when in a hurry, but always with an eye for style. The model is sold in a limited-edition box featuring the original BALLY logo from the 1940s with the ballerina, reinterpreted in laminated gold.
