Valerio Cavalca, known to everyone as the leader of the brand Alexander Nicolette, is one of the leading figures of the Italian and international footwear sector; he wrote some important pages of the history of footwear. He died recently at the age of 83 and he is remembered also as one the distinguished former students of ARSUTORIA school.

After learning “how to make” a shoe in a Pannocchi workshop, he founded the brand Nicolette in 1960, to then acquire the important shoe factory Alexander together with two partners. Hence the birth of the company Alexander Nicolette, which has done so much to keep the quality of shoes made in Italy high. A company that has first enjoyed great success in Italy over the years and subsequently also abroad.
