Among the most antique Italian fashion houses, Borbonese participated for the first time in the MICAM with a new project dedicated to women’s and men’s footwear. The SS 2018 collection was the protagonist of the show, presenting a complete range of products that spanned from the contemporary sneaker to fine and elegant footwear, all of which was characterized by attentive research into innovative materials and a meticulous attention to details, as a trademark of all of Borbonese’s proposals.

The new collection benefits from a new distribution network which, along with the Borbonese flagship store and historic wholesale clients of the brand, will be destined for the very best footwear stores on the market.

The intentions of the brand’s management, in what is a turning-point represented by its footwear, is to increase the share accounted for by its shoes from 5 to 20% of the company’s budget, with the goal of arriving at 50 million euros in two years’ time.

Among the end markets of the proposal are above all Europe and Japan, the first foreign destination for Borbonese.
