superThe tenth edition of Super at the The Mall in Milan (from 23-25 September) ended in a spirit of innovation and research. The Show organized by Pitti Immagine and dedicated to previews of women’s high-end accessories and prêt-à-porter, confirms once again its orientation towards an attentive selection of emerging and established brands, which were 146 altogether, with 53% from abroad, arousing great interest among international buyers.

The figures, in fact, demonstrate a rise in the number of international buyers, coming in particular from Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Hong Kong, while Italy continues with its downtrend, experiencing a 10 percent drop. A total of 4,700 visitors, including a 20% foreign presence, arrived from 50 countries around the globe to participate.

The feedback and comments received from buyers over the three days were unanimous: a clear appreciation was expressed for the mix of collections characterized by a greater orientation towards research and selection, with high-quality product firms and brands, and intense scouting efforts focused on emerging designers and new worlds of contemporary fashion – I’m speaking in particular of the collaboration with Lagos Fashion & Design Week, Super Talents, the designers of More Dash – Eye on the East, and the launching of innovative projects in women’s fashion.
