More than 1,500 retailers from around the world registered, with an average of almost 60 new stores every week: these are the encouraging results achieved during the first 6 months of life of the only-trade ‘Shoes from Spain B2B’ platform, created with the aim of bringing the very best brands in Spanish footwear together with retailers from around the globe.

There’s more: 80% of the registered and approved buyers are foreign retailers, thus confirming the primary role of the platform in becoming a new exports sales channel for Spanish footwear companies. Going more into detail, the stores registered are French (26%), Italian (20%), German (7%) and North American (6%).

In the meantime, FICE continues to actively promote the portal to specialised footwear stores and boutiques of apparel throughout all of Europe and the United States. Although the platform is international in its scope, the promotional campaign will initially focus its efforts on the European market and American market, where the image of Made in Spain footwear is already solid and well-established.

During the first few months of 2018, the campaign will continue at various fashion and footwear fairs, setting up an institutional stand dedicated to ‘Shoes from Spain B2B’ at MICAM (Milan), FN PLATFORM (Las Vegas), MOMAD Shoes (Madrid), Poznan Fashion Fair (Poznan) and Shoes from Spain Exhibition (Tokyo).

Currently, 30 brands of Spanish footwear are present on the platform, including Pons Quintana, Kanna, Lola Cruz, Fluchos and Martinelli, with a comprehensive catalogue of 2,600 available products expressing different fashion seasons.

‘Shoes from Spain B2B’ was developed by Uppler, the company based out of the United States with long-time experience in building B2B e-commerce platforms in the fashion and lifestyle industries. The project is also supported by the French company specialized in credit management, Webhelp Payment Services, which is in daily contact with 35,000 points of sale in Europe and the United States.
