As an expression of the great Tuscan artisanal tradition, the Alba Moda footwear company has been designing, developing, and producing women’s footwear for Italian and international brands for more than thirty years.

In 2016, the owners, Sandro and Paola Ferri, decided to take advantage of the expertise acquired while working for private labels and launch their very own brand: thus, PF16 was created.

Protagonist of the September edition of theMICAM, the PF16 collection renews the Italian and handcrafted values that are by now a part of this Tuscan brand’s DNA, combining them with a fashionable and trendy look, which is aimed at a young and trendy public. One of the defining traits of the PF16 collection is the piece-dying that is directly taken from an antique technique of production, which first calls for hand dabbing, and then dipping in the color, in order to convey an extremely appealing artisanal look to the footwear. Next to the style, ergonomics and comfort are just as important to PF16, and are guaranteed by the use of first-choice leathers and by the design of comfortable heels and shapes, making the footwear ideal for wearing at any time of day.

The PF16 brand thus completes the offer of Alba Moda, which for the Spring-Summer 2017 season is enriched by a collection dedicated to footwear with a simple and minimal taste. Commercial products that are simple, yet also characterized by a strong Made in Italy identity, following the great tradition of Tuscan footwear.
