The brand of Made in Italy footwear, Patrizio Dolci (produced by Confort Shoes), launches the ‘ReShoes’ contest, in collaboration with 3DItaly, offering the possibility to young and emerging designers from both Italy and abroad to create their own shoe and present it at the next sector trade fairs of reference: a unique opportunity, which also sees the company open its doors to the community of young fashion designers worldwide.

The contest’s purpose is to prototype original footwear ideas, by reconciling new visions in footwear with the experience of Made in Italy craft workmanship and research on materials. In other words, adapting additive manufacturing processes, to allow for the rapid prototyping of new concepts.

To participate in the “ReShoes Contest” you must submit your project by April 10. On April 28, the 10 finalists will be chosen and given the possibility to experience a full-immersion in digital prototyping and artisanal footwear production in a workshop to be held from 11 to 14 May at Confort Shoes, in Caselle in Pittari, Cilento (SA).

The event will also feature the presentation of the 10 finalists’ concept designs printed by 3DiTALY, with the proclamation of the winner, who will see his/her project become a reality, thanks to the support of the Patrizio Dolci craftsmen community.

The “ReShoes Contest” is free to enter and is open to all individuals without any restrictions, though it is specifically targeted at fashion designers, artists from the world of fashion, students, and those studying fashion, costume, and design. It can be entered by either a single person or as a team.
