Momad Metropolis International Fashion Trade Show, organised by IFEMA, is moving forward with the organization of the next edition, which is to be held between 3-5 February 2017 at IFEMA. Once again, this fair will prove itself to be the number one commercial event for the textile apparel sector on the Iberian Peninsula.
The trade fair is expected to bring together nearly 900 clothing firms, which will present the Autumn-Winter 2017/18 collections from women’s clothing brands, collections of party and ceremony wear and accessories, as well as fast fashion offerings for Spring-Summer 2017. This offering will be exhibited in Halls 4, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid.
The new developments at Momad Metrópolis February 2017 include the change in street and urban fashion brands, now grouped under the name of Fast & Young in the larger Hall 4, where a space called Winter Terrace will also be located. This space will bring together fashion, music and gastronomy, as well as a catwalk which will be hosting fashion parade and the Sustainable Fashion brands.
Hall 12 will be housing the collections for Spring-Summer 2017, with the sectors Contemporary (latest trends from classical style brands), Casual (new collections from younger brands), Sustainable Fashion, Accessories, Metro Area and Leather fashion.
Hall 14 will be featuring fast fashion, under the name Now!, as well as a wide variety of collections of Party and Ceremony for Events, and Accessories.
The 3rd monographic fashion and clothing edition of the Momad Metropolis Fair will also include a renovated MOMAD forum, where, in addition to discussions by leading professionals on issues of interest to the sector, there will be a presentation of the results of the study on the evolution of multi-channel, organised in collaboration with Modaes.es and the Business Association of Textile Trade and Accessories (Acotex), in what has been named the Momad Fashion Lab.
Moreover, the February 2017 edition will once again be held at the same time as Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya. For a few days, this gathering will transform the Feria de Madrid complex into the biggest and most comprehensive showcase for the latest fashion and trends in southern Europe.
Momad Shoes will be held in March
Momad Shoes, the International Footwear and Accessories Fair, also organised by IFEMA, will not be coinciding this year with Momad Metropolis. Its third edition as a monographic footwear trade fair will be held from 4-6 March 2016 on dates other than those of the Momad Metrópolis Fashion and Clothing Fair, with the aim of positioning it within the international footwear fair circuit.
