During the design week in Milan (from 9th to 14th April), Melissa will present an artistic installation that celebrates the partnership with the Campana brothers, Fernando and Humberto, reaching the important milestone of 15 years of collaboration. Drawing inspiration from crochet techniques, the designer duo has developed an intricate and light texture that perfectly combines with the unique technology of Melissa and its raw material, plastic.

The installation, created by the Campana Brothers in collaboration with the Brazilian NGO Projeto Arrastão, involved several collectives for the production of crochet weft pieces, joined by the Campana brothers in the final work that will be exhibited during the show. The project is intrinsically connected to the presentation of the new Melissa+Campana “Crochet” collection, composed of three new products with a characteristic crochet texture.
