On the occasion of the last edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, FENDI presented its new Spring/Summer 2024 men’s collection with a special fashion show at the evocative and recently inaugurated FENDI Factory, the Maison’s centre of excellence in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, in Capannuccia (Bagno a Ripoli).

“We are proud to open the FENDI Factory to our customers and the press, bringing it to life outside the everyday with the next men’s fashion show. It is a special place for our artisans and the local community because it represents FENDI’s heritage and creativity, cultivating the precious skills of artisans and preserving Made in Italy,” said Serge Brunschwig, Chairman and CEO, FENDI.

“I am thrilled that the men’s fashion show will be held in such a special location for me, the beating heart of FENDI, a symbolic place of creation where development, innovation, craftsmanship training and production are united under one roof. A unique opportunity to see our products come to life in the very place where our artisans make them, putting them centre stage for that day,” stressed Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear, FENDI.

“I am particularly happy with the presence of FENDI, one of the most prestigious luxury brands on the global scene, at Pitti Uomo in June,” said Antonio De Matteis, President of Pitti Immagine, “precisely in the edition that marks my debut at the helm of the company. This presentation is further confirmation of the international standing of the fair and the quality level of its special events’.

The Factory,’ added Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, ‘is a large structure dedicated above all to leather goods, which represent one of the best expressions of the manufacturing, industrial and artisan tradition of our territory and region. The investment by the Maison FENDI puts the skills and knowledge that have their roots here to good use and at the same time nurtures them, contributes to their modernisation, and unites them with high quality design in fashion and accessories’.
