Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags continues to emphasise its international soul, not only because the trade fair hosts and deals with so many markets on a global level, but also because of its Around the World format. This is precisely a business-oriented tour of national and international appointments featuring some of the event’s organisers and managers and the exhibiting companies or buyers.

In the second week of November 2023, Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags was present, as a partner, at the 7th World Footwear Congress in Istanbul, Turkey. An important moment of training and information for the sector and an unmissable opportunity to reinvigorate relations and forge new ones, especially as it was the first event of its kind after the blockade due to the pandemic. During the congress, the main topics discussed were environmental sustainability and its role in shaping and securing a future for our planet, as well as the introduction of technological innovation and the importance of people in the ethical conduct of work. Arguments that are perfectly in line with the cornerstones of the trade fair in Rivoli, which is making sustainability its pillar for present and future decisions, both in terms of trade fair set-ups and visitor proposals.

Around the World continues with other important dates. Also in November 2023, the fair will be in Brazil to visit Brazilian companies and major manufacturers and to participate in local industry events. At the beginning of 2024, it will move on to the industrial districts of China and then continue with a road show in Northern Europe aimed especially at buyers.

The aim of the project is to get to know better some of the main production districts of the various countries, to deepen relations with the supply chain, and to better understand the needs of the realities and subjects with which it comes into contact so as to offer services that are increasingly in line with their concrete needs.
