Having now completed the reorganisation of the exhibition and the new layout previously set into motion at the last edition, Couromoda gets ready to fill its available exhibition spaces and guarantee a promising working environment to exhibiting companies and professional visitors. The appointment in January is the end result of a series of actions and promotional efforts undertaken through various media and platforms, which the Couromoda organisational body has launched in order to support the business of Brazilian footwear manufacturers throughout all of 2018: “Our business concept will see us continue to provide assistance to companies in the sector, through advertising and a constant presence throughout the year, thus allowing our fair to reinvent itself and adapt in real time to changes taking place in the market. – declared Jeferson Santos, Director of Couromoda – We want to keep our sights set on the future, while focusing on the success of our industry, in order to guarantee new job opportunities, an income for businesses, and economic growth for our country. These are the goals we are working towards”.
As with the past edition, Couromoda will present a selection of businesses, which represent around 90% of footwear and accessory production in Brazil, to a public of professionals coming from 55 different countries, with the expectation of exceeding 42 thousand registered visitors in January 2018. Ever-dynamic, the event usually accounts for 35% of the sector’s turnover, presenting around 2000 fall-winter collections, summer re-stockings, and fashion shows, while also providing useful information for the business of operators at the fair through the programme of seminars dedicated to fashion trends, retail trends, etc., which are the protagonists of the Couromoda Forum.
