The excellence of the “Made in Italy” craftsmanship mingles with a refined and exotic inspiration

immagine-profiloBorn from the creativity of Gaia Ghetti and Benedetta Bolognesi, Akhal Tekè’s debut collection proposes refined and sophisticated shoes that are completely hand-embroidered. The brand takes its name from the oldest and most precious horse breed and from the Tekè tribe, which still raises them, comes the inspiration for the precious decorations and embroideries, initially destined for horse harnesses. The refined and comfortable style of the slippers has thus fourteen variations where the attention to detail is combined with the use of precious materials: velvets, brocades and suedes matched with strictly handmade embroideries, obtained through the use of beads, cuts, threads and stones. The flat models with a ladylike allure are made with the slip-lasting construction, which gives the shoe the utmost flexibility and softness, while the upper gains a “destructured” look without cuts or stitchings.
