The competition between two of the leading giants in sportswear continues in the retail industry: to the opening of the Nike megastore in New York, in the Soho neighborhood this past November; Adidas replied with the inauguration of an enormous flagship store on Fifth Avenue at civic number 565, representing the biggest Adidas store worldwide.

Extending across a surface area of 4200 square meters, it inaugurates a new concept destined to characterize future openings. Spread out over four floors, and with architecture inspired by high school stadiums, customers are welcomed as if they were players on the field ready to compete: tunnels that serve as an entryway, cement stairways, changing rooms as if they were locker rooms, bleachers that face out over the street allowing customers to sit and relax for a moment, and maxi-screens that show games and competitions in real time.
So, it’s not just about products, but rather it is increasingly an experience that incites emotions in visitors to the store.

The assortment of the new megastore includes apparel, footwear, and accessories for men, women, and children, with a selection of more than 2000 items, many new services, and various forms of entertainment, with an area dedicated to the launching of new products, an area dedicated to the customization of garments, a dining area, virtual games, trainers that are made available to the store’s customers, and a mini athletic track for trying out your favorite shoes…
