Valleverde ends 2018 with 19 million euros in sales revenueThe Marches brand founded in the Seventies and taken over by Elvio Silvagni’s Silver1 in 2015 announces the success of its children’s line launched with the SS 2019 and ends 2018 with a turnover of 19 million euros, which is one million euro more than what was forecasted.
MICAM confirms the validity of the kids’ project undertaken with the SS19 season, which immediately started off on the right foot. Now, the line is exceeding even the most positive forecasts made by the Valleverde brand, thus confirming the great possibilities offered up by the project.
Distributed in over 400 stores where the brand’s men’s and women’s lines are already present, Valleverde Kid is also distributed by a select series of specialised stores. At the same time, the rest of the collection is meeting up with positive feedback: while awaiting the opening of its flagship store in Switzerland that will inaugurate the brand’s retail project abroad, the head of the brand announces that its strategy will however remain focused on small to mid-sized wholesale channels, where there is specialised personnel that can explain the advantages of the brand.
Style, well-being and comfort are the keys to the success of Valleverde that presented itself at MICAM with a selection of the vast collection that counts an estimated 1,175 models. Last season, the brand’s footwear was also joined by bags. Plus, the expansion of the product range proved itself to be a winning choice, since it allowed the brand’s turnover to increase to 19 million euros.
With a production of 500 thousand pairs and distribution in 1,100 stores, for the moment, Valleverde sells 95% of its production in Italy. The start of its foreign retail plans for expansion could raise this figure even higher.
