The design of the new boutique is once again the work of the Vudafieri-Saverino architectural studio, which since 2013, has been developing the global stores of Sonia Rykiel.  For this boutique, a new concept is inspired by the atmospheres of the modern Parisian Left Bank with its literary cafés and the glamourous/intellectual climate characterising it. The result is an elegant and informal space, with a succession of refined areas characterised by an intriguing atmosphere: bookshelves of various heights at the entrance, rooms for displaying the main collection and a salon designed as an intimate and discreet boudoir. The diamond-patterned floor is two-toned and extends across the main rooms, while the fitting rooms and sitting room are carpeted. Clear and neutral tones on the wall contrast with the dark grey ceilings.

The furnishings are made-to-measure with a light and linear design, which alternates metallic finishes like satin-finished pale gold and black chrome, with the roughness of wood. The shelves are made of a sophisticated metallic gold mesh combined with glass…

The spaces are furnished with leather sofas and beanbags in cognac tones, blue velvet drapes, wall coverings in antiqued glass and a big Santa & Cole chandelier in the private area of the fitting rooms and sitting area. Underlining the atmospheres of Paris is a “mise en scene” bistro-style setting that enlivens the fitting room area and store windows.
