The Rossignol for Philippe Model Paris capsule collection was introduced in the Garden of Villa Vittoria, right outside the doors of the Fortezza da Basso, in a futuristic igloo-shaped installation. Inside, an all-round projection led the visitor to experience an unusual journey, from the Alps to the rooftops of Paris. In the middle of the installation, a sole sneaker model combines Italian artisanal skills with the French taste for aesthetics. Thus, a modern spirit with the vintage touch of Philippe Model is enriched by the technical details characterising Rossignol: the running model features a light sole perfect for a dynamic city life, while both upper and high-tech fastening are borrowed from mountain sports. The fastening system and the padded shoe collar recall the inner shoe of ski-boots, proposing the same comfort and technical advantages.
