Ouigal – neologism that comes from the words Oui, yes in French, and Gal, girl in American slang – has imagined for the season AI18-19 a collection with a surreal touch, tinged with colour explosions and topped with retro flavours. The Ouigal creations seem to come from the most beautiful dreams, from an extraordinary fairy tale, from a dreamlike shot by Tim Walker.

The uppers are lit by vibrant colour palettes: carmine red, cobalt blue, emerald green, violet aubergine, yellow and cornflower blue. The materials range from vinyl, goat leather and soft suede. Laminated leathers have contrasting inserts and illuminate unexpected details on ankle boots, sabot and sneakers. The fabrics, reminiscent of animal skins, but in a jacquard key, are made of lurex yarns in bronze and burnished silver tones. Seasonal highlights are high heels with geometric references, which do not forget to guarantee an absolute comfort in the fit, to move agile between everyday adventures.
