Moda Made in Italy on the starting blocksAbout to get underway in Munich is the 52nd edition of Moda Made in Italy with its 140 Italian brands that prepare to meet up with buyers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The traditional rendezvous with Moda Made in Italy in Munich will be held from 24 to 26 March in Hall 4 of the MOC-Munich Order Center. With a renewed and modern look, the event will propose a selection of 140 brands inserted in a more functional layout, which will be joined by the permanent showrooms of the Shoe Order Center that contribute to harmoniously enriching the show’s offering.
Organising the event is Assocalzaturifici which, in an official note, released the data concerning Italian exports to Germany in 2018, which arrived at 34 million pairs, for a result that is more or less in line with the previous year in terms of quantity (+0.3%), but on the rise in terms of value (+2.6%). Numbers that confirm Germany as the second most important destination for Made in Italy exports after France.
“Moda Made in Italy would like to become the hub of reference for all operators interested in Made in Italy – declares Giovanna Ceolini, Vice President of Assocalzaturifici responsible for the German market – Our event is the main rendezvous with the segment of fashion footwear and leather accessories of the entire area for small and medium-sized sector businesses. Only buyers with the intention of finalising their purchase orders for the on-going season come here. We represent the key event of the sector, with strategic positioning on the calendar at the end of the season: a critical moment for those operators who choose Moda Made in Italy as the ideal business platform in rounding off their season’s orders”.
