1967: in the Province of Mantua, and more precisely in the small town of Cizzolo, the Maresca brand was established along with the company itself. The company specialized in the production of footwear with PVC moulding by pressing technique.
Since then, 50 years have passed and the footwear products that have led to its success are two classic articles: the hunting-fishing boot and the classic beach sandal.

In the years to follow, – comments Lorenzo Bellini, General Manager of the company, —all the way up to the 90’s, the globalization process broke the balance between supply and demand in the footwear market, resulting in a profound crisis for several thousand Italian footwear manufacturers, like us, who produced articles in Italy that belong to the economy shoes segment. To deal with this crisis, we planned a manufacturing strategy based on quality and a vast range of footwear products. This strategy transformed the range of our production from economy shoes to medium-high or luxury shoes.

The design and production of the finished product is entirely carried out within the company: we have a studio of professional model designers who follow the customer in choosing the product and developing ideas, all the way up to the development of the required footwear sample, thus guaranteeing a high amount of confidentiality.

Today, Maresca is present in markets around the world with its brands: Maresca, Saniflex, Mascalzini, Troklò, Chiara Bellini, and Fass.
