Historic brand with an important heritage, Ellesse was founded in 1959 by the charismatic Italian tailor Leonardo Servadio who, right from the very beginning, was determined to break down the walls dividing fashion from sportswear. In the Seventies, the popularity of tellesses19_q1_womens_ftw_aspio_rgbhe brand reached its high point, with its logo becoming a trademark. Now, Nice Footwear would like to bring Ellesse back in vogue, starting from its dual sports-fashion spirit and from its by now iconic logo: “We believe in the project of the brand’s relaunching – explains Brunto Contermo, sole owner and founder of Nice Footwear, who is also its CEO – and with the introduction of the Ellesse Heritage line, we count on improving the results of the growth trend already kicked off” .

Ellesse ended 2018 with a sales revenue of over 9 million euros: a good result that Nice Footwear intends to exceed in 2019. Besides Ellesse, the Nice Footwear portfolio also includes the brands of Conte of Florence, Avirex and Kronos. In addition to developing the Ellesse brand, the company expects to open a showroom in Milan in via Montenapoleone this coming March and one in Hong Kong in April.
