The store of 35 square meters, which is set in the extremely central location of Carrer Del Bisbe Azara, will host not only the iconic “Espadrilles loves Ibiza” collection, but also a special edition of the cult “Alpargata” rope model.  This new opening represents an essential step forward in the brand’s strategy of reinforcing its image through its expansion in the main European tourist destinations of reference.  Founded in the Seventies as the brainchild of the Bologna-based Ferrari&Zenobi (a company with a present-day annual turnover of 3 million euros), Espadrilles has transformed a traditionally rural and poor shoe into a cult and timeless product.  Now, as then, they are made with a spelt or hemp sole that is meticulously stitched by hand onto cotton fabric, in perfect respect for the environment.
