Although the Prime Ministerial Decree concerning the Covid pandemic allows trade shows to once again be physically held starting from March 6th, the organisers of #strongertogether responsible for reuniting the leading fashion events in Milan including MICAM Milano, the international footwear trade show; MIPEL, the international event for leather goods and accessories; TheONE Milano, for women’s haut-à-porter; LINEAPELLE, the showcase of innovative leathers, fabrics, accessories, and components; and HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, featuring bijoux and fashion accessories, have come to conclusion that there is not enough time to guarantee the “quality level and prestige usually associated with its events”, which are scheduled from 20 to 24 March.

In this decision also playing an important part are the international limitations on travel and transportation, which would not have allowed for the participation of “large number of buyers from all over the world that have given these events their authoritative status worldwide”.

Accordingly, these fashion shows become completely digital: the events continue to support their communities of reference through digital platforms by channelling their efforts into initiatives and investments aimed at creating the very best opportunities for firms, brands, and buyers to interact, while also highlighting the new collections with their undisputable creative content in the best way possible.
