In 2011, Daniele Perani, Roberto Tartufoli and Remo Ciccioli of Mac Dugan, created the SOYA FISH sneakers collection. The name and logo of the brand were inspired by the fish-shaped soy containers found on the Chinese menu served on some international flights.

The styles are inspired by historic shoes used in various sports such as basketball, tennis and running, with innovative interpretations of vintage ideas, both in the designs and materials. The distinguishing feature of Soya Fish is its lightness, the soles are made of XL EXTRALIGHT, an extremely light polymer that absorbs micro-shocks and that has high resistance to abrasions.
