Eighty years ago, Daniel J. Wellehan founded his brand in Maine alongside his friends and business partners Joe and Will, with a vision to transform his deep connection to the region into authentic, timeless products. This marked the start of production of classic moccasins, which were immediately appreciated for their high-quality craftsmanship. These values continue to inspire the brand today as it celebrates this significant 80th-anniversary milestone with the Boat Tour – a project that transforms the iconic Docksides model into a shoe-shaped boat travelling between Milan, Amsterdam, Florence, Paris and London. A limited-edition, Made in USA capsule collection has also been launched, once again featuring the Docksides, crafted from full-grain leather in two colours.
