Santa Clara Milano is a young footwear project suspended between fashion and charity

Santa Clara is a footwear brand of decided added value, based on timeless values: craftsmanship, dedication, attention to detail and passion… It makes casuals (the 2014 novelty is a short boot in soft napa) entirely by hand in Italy and part of the revenue from sales of these products go to non-profit organizations like Amref, aimed at improving living conditions in African  communities (such as the Stand up for African Mothers project).

Style, quality and altruism are the basic features of our brand today. To ignore such values would mean not accepting the changes that confront us all

says Andrea Zavattarelli, managing director of the brand.

The models come in various materials and with different trimmings, presented in a wooden box by Paulonia It takes about three hours to make each pair of Santa Clara shoes, involving the craftsmanship of six people working entirely by hand. All Santa Clara products are made from prime quality materials according to traditional artisanal methods in one of the leading footwear manufacturing areas of Northern Italy. There is also a website featuring fresh young items, with try-on photos and style suggestions.
