SCARPA, Italian company leader in the production of mountain footwear and for outdoor activities, presents the new Ribelle Run Kalibra G, the shoe that revolutionises the world of trail running, the result of a synergistic work with the two brand partners BOA® and Polartec®: a highly performing model, able to provide comfort, protection and safety in extreme conditions of snow, water and mud. The main innovation is Wrap360, the lacing system that allows a complete wrapping of the foot, both in the front and in the heel area, developed by BOA®. Ribelle Run Kalibra G features an integrated gaiter and the innovative BOA® Li2 dial system placed on the external part and for the first time applied to a winter trail running shoe, which allows athletes to micro-adjust the fit during activity as needed. The BOA® Li2 platform combines with TX6 laces, the new generation of L-Series textile laces, made of recycled polyester (RPET) and high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). Polartec®, a Milliken brand, main provider of innovative and sustainable textile solutions, offered the Windbloc® technology, for the first time applied to a trail running shoe: a 3-layer fabric with a 100% windproof membrane inside that guarantees waterproofness, breathability, comfort and greater resistance, giving the shoe a wide range of features including lightness, thermoregulation and maximum protection against any extreme weather conditions. The PRESA sole, suitable for activities on mixed terrain in extreme conditions, thanks to a special rubber type that resists the cold and does not lose its properties at low temperatures, the midsole in medium density EVA, durable over time and featuring a shock absorbing cushion able to maintain the softness typical of the Ribelle Run and finally an outsole with 6 mm tessellation, complete the shoe.
