In 1929, Amedeo Testoni opened his own workshop in Bologna to follow his dream of creating footwear that blends style and craftsmanship: ever since then, the brand has strived to elevate its art and perfect its know-how, going beyond national boundaries and inventing new techniques, like the patented Piuma Rapid technique, which uses chain stitching with hand-braided linen twine to create a feather-light shoe. Today, the historic brand announces its rebranding, by changing its name from a.testoni to Amedeo Testoni, while respecting the key values par excellence of its founder: each creation is masterfully handcrafted from the finest materials, and is an expression of the perfect blending of tradition and innovation. The new name is joined by a renewed design of the brand’s boutiques, logo, and chromatic palette, with Lambrusco red recalling the shades of the sparkling wine typical of the Bologna territory.
