Its symbol, which also recalls its name, is a ferret, the wild little animal that lives in the woods of north Scandinavia. It’s no coincidence that POLECAT, in fact, was first founded in the cold climate of Sweden 13 years ago. The turning point in the brand’s strategy occurred 2 years ago when it began its collaboration with Gore-Tex with the aim of proposing high-tech and high-quality shoes destined to endure over time for men, women, and children. These are the origins of shoes for Him and for Her that combine a Gore-Tex breathable and waterproof upper with a running insole, and high slip-resistance trekking outsole designed to offer high performance also in the city.

Expo Riva Schuh is the new showcase for this product that is aimed in particular at the markets of Northern Europe and the Alps, which require fresh and breathable footwear during the summer that is also capable of keeping the foot warm and dry in the winter in the cold climates characterised by rain and snow. High performance and technical footwear, which however is a pleasure to wear throughout the course of the day thanks to the look that is similar to the modern-day and leisure sneaker. The collection presented at Riva del Garda for winter 2022/23 also includes the introduction of dress models suitable for the most elegant occasions, while always respecting the POLECAT philosophy.
