Pitti Bimbo No. 91 is a slightly different but always extraordinary fair, which makes its virtual debut on Pitti Connect, the new digital platform hosting the summer exhibition of Pitti Immagine. The big news is the duration of the event, online from 16 July to 9 October, to give brands and buyers the opportunity to maximise business opportunities and Pitti people to keep in touch by taking part in an interesting series of events.
Under the theme of the Pitti Immagine “Out of the Blue”summer shows, Pitti Bimbo also in digital version proposes the sections of the physical fair, the big brands of Pitti Bimbo, Sport Generation, Superstreet, the experimental brands of KidFIZZ, the emerging realities of The Nest, Ecoethic’s sustainable fashion, Apartment’s tailoring, Kid’s Evolution mini me collections, Fancy Room’s design and accessories. To access the collections you can go through the sections or directly click on the exhibitor that can also be selected by style, product category, country.
There are a series of special projects and events to restore the atmosphere and emotions of the physical fair. From Mattel’s 75th anniversary party with Barbie choosing her wardrobe from the collections present at Pitti Connect and with the special Hot Wheels carousel, to The Playful Living that wants to outline the profile of the new children’s store through a series of dialogues on retail. Fashion Carrousel, a virtual carousel dedicated to various fashion brands that alternates the interventions of Alberta Ferretti Kids, Dolce & Gabbana, Ermanno Scervino Junior, Miss Blumarine … And then style paths, trends, scouting through the exhibitors’ collections …
“We were looking for emergency solutions, but we also found opportunities for the future: – said Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine, presenting the new platform at the digital press conference of Pitti Bimbo – Pitti Connect has given a strong technological acceleration to our fairs and represents the element of continuity that will take us towards January 2021, when the physical and virtual fair will integrate”.
