The Spanish Footwear Industry Federation (FICE) will bring 106 exhibitors to the 100th edition of MICAM Milano, representing 135 brands that embody the design, high-quality manufacturing and style of Made in Spain.
The “Shoes from Spain” information stand will be located in Hall 1, Stand E11.
“Spain is the second largest country in terms of number of exhibitors. This high level of participation reflects the Spanish footwear sector’s clear commitment to internationalisation and highlights the importance of MICAM as a key event in its expansion strategies. The sector focuses on design, quality, sustainability and innovation,” says Salvador Gómez, Secretary General of FICE. The fair’s management estimates that 30,000 buyers from 150 countries will be in attendance.
It should be noted that Spanish footwear exports in the first half of 2025 reached €1,680.4 million and 189.6 million pairs, down 2.3% in value and 1.4% in pairs compared to the same period in 2024. Italy is the second largest buyer of Spanish footwear, accounting for 17% of the total value. Micam is a showcase of excellence, giving new impetus to a sector that faces increasingly difficult challenges at a global level but can count on a long tradition and drive for innovation.
