outdoor 2016Once more, OutDoor has confirmed its role as a leading international tradeshow in the sector. The 23rd show, held at Lago di Costanza, saw an increase in international visitors, who came from 92 nations (2015: 85).

We are more than pleased. OutDoor’s ability to attract international visitors has grown and still continues to be a high point for the entire sector, even in these difficult times

was the review of tradeshow Director, Klaus Wellmann and Manager of the OutDoor sector, Stefan Reisinger.

Yet again, the 12 halls and external exhibition areas were full to the brim, thanks to the 960 exhibitors from 14 nations.

The presence of nearly all the leading companies on the market and the high-level offer from all the sectors in the outdoor industry generated enormous interest among sector operators and stands saw a considerable influx of visitors.
The new 2017 programme was also welcomed with enthusiasm. In fact, the dates for OutDoor will be brought forward to 18th to 21st June 2017 and the event will now be held from Sunday to Wednesday.

The shift in calendar will enable the tradeshow to reflect on the events in the sector at the very best time. Feedback from OutDoor 2016 has confirmed this as the right move and ordering dates will not be postponed. Hans-Hermann Deters, Managing Director of Sport 2000 stated:

The new, anticipated dates for OutDoor also correspond to the needs of the retailers downstream of the ‘Outdoorprofi’ and ‘Laufprofi’ tradeshow market. All participants can take advantage of a common marketplace with a high level of innovation, which will make purchasing decisions easier

The 25th tradeshow will be held from 17th to 20th June 2018.
