Nike is launching a subscription service for kids’ shoes with the Adventure Club platform that is sure to be popular with American parents. By paying a small monthly amount –ranging from 20 dollars a month for 4 pairs of shoes to 50 dollars a month for 12 pairs – they will be able to keep up with the shoe needs of their growing children aged 2 to 10 years old.
With the platform currently active only in America, the question is will it arrive also in Europe. That depends on its success and the tests that will also eventually be extended to include an adult public, with a focus on runners in particular, who need to repurchase their footwear on a fairly regular basis.
