The International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID, has successfully concluded its inaugural July edition (23-25 July), confirming the success of an exhibition format designed to showcase the Spring/Summer 2027 collections in advance and align with changes in the sector’s ordering schedules. Over the three days, the exhibition area featured a carefully curated selection, comprising more than 200 brands – including 50 first-time exhibitors – with a strong international presence and an audience of qualified buyers focused on exploring sample collections, establishing business relationships and identifying profitable channels.
This event highlighted the value of a fair created to kick off the professional textile trade shows in Spain, effectively bringing together in a single venue a vast array of brands – 60 per cent of which are local – alongside stylistic trends, in-depth analysis and prospects for development. The final outcome was a dynamic event, characterised by constant buzz across every sector and favourable feedback from sellers, buyers and market specialists.
The new layout of the exhibition was very well received; it was designed to make it easier to discover products and enhance the efficiency of the professional experience for visitors, featuring areas such as Focus Brands and the participation of brands including Flabelus, CIRCU, The Bag Lab, Angie Vásquez, Surarquía, Barnet, De Flores y Floreros and Juan Pina Piel, all of whom were exhibiting at MOMAD for the first time. Then there was the Best Sellers Area, strategically located along the visitor route and designed to showcase products and collections with immediate commercial potential.
This edition also strengthened its international dimension through the Buyers’ Programme, which brought together professionals from strategic markets across Europe, Latin America, North America, the Middle East and Asia, generating new commercial opportunities for participating brands and reinforcing the event’s business focus.
MOMAD is set to welcome trade visitors once again with a format even more focused on the product at its next edition, which will take place from 4 to 6 February at IFEMA MADRID, alongside Bisutex and Intergift.
