img_2138_low115 exhibitors enlivened the 48th edition of Moda Made in Italy, the Assocalzaturifici event that is a point of reference for the world of footwear in Germany, which ended this past 21 March with a final turnout of 1400 operators.

Now, the spotlight moves towards the next edition, which will be repositioned on the international trade fair calendar with later show dates:  from 6 to 8 October 2017, rather than in September, in order to coincide with the new dates of theMicam, which as always will be held in Hall 4 of MOC (the Munich Order Centre) in Munich.  In this way, the German event will reconfirm its privileged role as the trade fair that finalizes end-of-season-orders in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, offering up one final opportunity for the season’s purchases on the trade fair calendar.

On show will be the 200-plus collections belonging to the S/S 2018 season and the FW 2017-18 re-stockings, featuring footwear produced in Italy and in Europe in the mid to mid-to-high end range.  The end markets of reference are mainly those of South-Central Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, which for more than 20 years have shown a strong interest in the excellence of Made in Italy footwear.

This new edition will once again reconfirm the partnership with WGSN, an international fashion trend consulting firm, allowing Moda Made in Italy to present dealers with footwear fashion trends and provide them with useful information for better understanding consumers’ needs and finalizing their sales strategies in Germany and elsewhere.

During the three days of the event, all the permanent showrooms of MOC will be open with more than 230 brands.
