The Spanish brand Gioseppo with its new label Have a Nice World is taking one more step forward for our planet by giving life to increasingly sustainable products made using practical and more responsible raw materials. Collections that follow the latest fashion trends, but with as much respect as possible for the environment by using recycled materials like polyester and cotton, and natural fibres coming from sustainable forests. The first footwear to come out of the line are slip-ons for women and sandals for girls, which are simply cut, featuring natural colours, with leather insoles from tanneries that comply with ecological and sustainable standards.
During Earth Day (22 April), Gioseppo launched the Gioforest project, which, together with the association Oxizonia, an organisation committed to the reforestation of the Amazonia, has given life to a protected area of 200 hectares in the district of Chontachaka in the state of Cusco (Peru), which will be reforested with Chonta palms, Pacific Coast mahogany, Paca paca, Bay Laurel, and Caobilla.
