The event, now in its 90th edition, intends to “celebrate the past, construct the future” with a series of contents created to favour business and support international market trends.
Over the last 45 years, Expo Riva Schuh has come a long way: from a simple meeting point between representatives and buyers from the world of shoes vacationing in the Lake Garda area, it has been gradually transformed into the leading showcase for all the world’s main production areas. From 16 to 19 June, Expo Riva Schuh will renew its appointment with the 1,400 plus exhibitors, coming from more than 40 different countries, with the confirmed participation of collectives from China, India, and Brazil, which will complete the offerings of Italian and other European brands. Moreover, more than 13 thousand visitors coming from around a hundred different countries are forecasted, together with buyers from the nations visited by the Expo Riva Schuh Around the World promotional tour, including France and Vietnam.
Protagonists of the Riva event will be the Spring-Summer 2019 collections, together with the previous season’s re-assortment: an offering created to reply to the different needs of the market, including that of fast fashion, which is becoming a successful segment in the fashion industry.
Finally, the 90th edition of Expo Riva Schuh will see the debut of Gardabags, a new exhibition project dedicated to the world of bags and leather goods, which will be the protagonist of PalaVela, the structure located on the lakefront and directly connected to the Riva del Garda Congress Centre, the historic venue of Expo Riva Schuh. With an offering that perfectly complements that of Expo Riva, Gardabags aims to respond to the increasing demand for total look solutions by the market.
