After having skipped the June edition due to the Covid pandemic, Expo Riva Schuh for its 94th edition plays ahead of the usual calendar and is placed from 11 to 14 December 2020, ready to collect opportunities in order to relaunch the volume footwear sector. The choice of the new dates was carefully considered by the organisers of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi taking into account the different needs of the international parterre of the event which compares the main players of the world production with buyers from all over the world. The anticipation will thus allow operators to take advantage of this month to work on the Autumn-Winter 2021-2022 season and on the refreshments of the summer season.
Once again, Expo Riva Schuh will be presented in December at the same time as Gardabags, the event dedicated to bags and volume accessories which has reached its 5th edition, thus reconfirming the total look proposal that has been welcomed by the market since its debut. The formula of the “widespread fair” was also reconfirmed, involving a dozen of selected locations in Riva del Garda next to the Palafiere. Alongside men’s, women’s and sports footwear, Expo Riva Schuh will also place particular emphasis on children’s footwear, with a wide selection of manufacturers and licensees from Italy, Germany, Spain, Brazil, China … just to name a few of the companies’ nationalities in the sector present at the fair.
Waiting for the event, the organisers of Expo Riva Schuh have promoted an interesting cycle of Live Talks under the hashtag PLAYfashion thanks to which the fair intends to actively contribute to the restart of the fashion system and, in particular, of the accessories’ volume footwear sector. A way to keep the relationship between all its interlocutors alive, listen to the market and encourage useful information, looking forward to the moment of the physical show.
