The Board of Directors of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, which met on 28 August 2026, appointed Enzo Bassetti as the organisation’s new Chairman, with the aim of ensuring continuity in the work begun by his predecessor, carrying forward the Strategic Plan launched at the start of his term of office and looking resolutely towards future goals.

“It is a great responsibility for me, as well as an honour, to take on the Chairmanship at such a delicate time,” said Bassetti. “Roberto Pellegrini led this organisation for many years with authority, vision and great energy, achieving very significant milestones. He has left us a legacy that I intend to safeguard and make the most of. I would like to thank the Board of Directors for their trust and all those who contribute daily to the growth of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. We are committed to continuing along the path we have taken, in keeping with the values that have guided us thus far, whilst looking to the future and the significant challenges we will face in a constantly evolving market.”

This designation represents a clear choice in favour of stability for Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, which is ready to continue its activities whilst maintaining the vision and dedication that have characterised its management over the years.

Enzo Bassetti has deep-rooted historical ties to the local community, where he has supported numerous projects and events. He has held various institutional roles, including that of Mayor of Riva del Garda; today he heads GTS, the fair’s main shareholder group; he chairs the Confcommercio (UNAT) hoteliers’ association for Alto Garda and Ledro and serves as Vice-President at provincial level.

The company’s senior management has also completed the composition of the executive committee by co-opting Silvio Rigatti, President of Garda Dolomiti, with a view to forging a structural and lasting link between the two local development organisations.
