A tribute to the ville lumière and its confiserie, café and historic venues extending along the banks of the Rive Gauche with their tapestries and damask furnishings. However, it is also a playful tribute to macaroons with their pastel colours that combine romanticism, joie de vivre and style. The Manolo Blahnik collection makes these two themes the absolute protagonists of a collection that includes pumps with a long tongue decorated with a strap of coloured beads, or with a maxi ruffle that arrives all the way up to the instep, or even with a wavy instep and applied beads. There are then mules with a strap adorned by a rich flourish of sparkles, with all of the above proposals featuring vertiginous stiletto heels. At the same time, a nod is made to flat slippers with the same ornamentation of coloured buttons.
Presented in the Parisian boutique of Palais Royal, at rue Montpensier no. 12, the collection of the eccentric Spanish designer has already conquered the hearts of the brand’s many fans.
