Having celebrated more than 45 years of history this past January with the participation of its founder and President, Francisco Santos, Couromoda returns from 14 to 17 January 2019 at the São Paolo Expo Center Norte to present the new collections for winter alongside summer updates.

The event, which today is headed by Jeferson Santos (CEO of Couromoda), presents itself now more than even before as a dynamic fair capable of offering a complete and select panorama of the country’s production. At the same time, it attracts important buyers from the domestic and international market, while also providing insight and information onto the sector through fashion shows and trend and retail seminars proposed in its Forum. The event is especially important also for the “long wave of business” it generates throughout the entire year, representing 35% of the entire sector’s business.

On show will be an estimated 2 thousand collections of footwear, leather goods, and fashion accessories, representing around 90% of all production in Brazil. Among the brands at the fair we will find Beira Rio, Arezzo, Dumond, Jorge Bischoff, Carrano, Suzana Santos, Pampili, Bibi, Democrata, Dakota, Pegada, Pè com Pè, Werner, Kildare, Klin, Dumond/Capodarte and many others.

In terms of professional visitors, more than 42,000 participants coming from 55 countries worldwide are expected to attend, for results that should be in line with the 2018 edition.

All this is made possible through the on-going actions undertaken by the organisers over the course of the year, with advertising in different media and on various platforms, and participation at the most important international sector events. However, also Couromoda’s ability to reinvent itself over time and intercept on-going changes in the global footwear market play a key role. First set into motion at the last edition, the show’s renewal has seen the exhibition reorganised, with a new layout for the stands and the intent of making it the very best possible fair experience from every standpoint.

Now in its ninth edition, São Paulo Prêt-à-Porter  the international fair for the fashion, apparel, and accessories industry will once again be held in conjunction with Couromoda. Together, the two fairs will offer retailers the opportunity to examine the season’s trends with a 360° approach.
